Fall sports continue their first week of practice. HS Volleyball practices from 8:00-11:00 this week. Baseball practices from 5:00-7:00, and then Friday from 3-5. Cross country practices from 7:00 am-8:00 am this week. Our numbers are low for each group, and we hope you encourage your students to be active and participate in what our school has to offer. We would hate to see one of these groups not get the opportunity to participate due to not having enough participants. If you have any questions please contact the HS office at 568-2146 or the Central Office at 568-4564.

Next Wednesday, April 12 at approx 10:00 am, BHS will host a mock car crash on our new parking lot east of the gym. The Stoddard County Ambulance District, Missouri Highway Patriol, Bloomfield P.D., and Bloomfield FD have all taken part in planning this demonstration. Our high school students will be watching the "crash" and aftermath in hopes that it helps them think carefully about choices. We want to inform all of you that we will have all sorts of emergency vehicles, with lights and sounds directly around school, and a "mock" drunk driving arrest. We don't want anyone to be alarmed as they see or hear all of this. Our HS students and parents can opt out of viewing this scene. Opt out forms are available in the office. We will send out a push notification and message to all district parents to inform them so that they do not think there is a real emergency at school.
